Privacy notice

This is a courtesy translation. Kodiak operates in Mexico, and the Spanish version of this notice is the legally binding one.
In short: we only use your information to reply to you and, if we work together, for your project. We don't sell it or share it.
Who is responsible for your information
Victor Alfonso Mendez Gonzalez, who runs the Kodiak development studio (“Kodiak”, “we” or “us” in this notice), is responsible for the use and protection of your personal information. For any privacy matter, write to us at getkodiak.dev@gmail.com.
What information we receive
Only what you share with us when you write through the contact form, WhatsApp or email:
- Your name.
- Your phone number or email address.
- What you tell us about your business and what you need.
We don't ask for sensitive information (health, religion, origin, etc.) or banking details. Please don't include them in your messages.
What we use it for
Only to:
- Reply to you and understand what your business needs.
- Prepare a proposal or quote.
- Follow up on that conversation and, if we work together, stay in touch during the project.
We don't use your information for advertising, we don't sell it and we don't add you to mailing lists.
How it reaches us
The form on this site doesn't store anything: it only drafts a message that you choose to send from your own email or WhatsApp. That message travels through the email (Google) or WhatsApp (Meta) services, which have their own privacy policies.
Who we share it with
No one. We don't transfer your information to third parties, unless a competent authority requires it by law.
Cookies and browsing data
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. The hosting service may log technical data about the visit (IP address, browser, page visited) so the site works and stays secure. Your browser also stores a flag so the intro animation doesn't repeat during the same visit and, if you choose a language, which one you prefer; neither identifies you.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purposes in this notice and to meet legal obligations. After that, we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see what information we have about you, correct it, delete it or object to its use (known in Mexico as ARCO rights), and you can also withdraw your consent.
Write to us at getkodiak.dev@gmail.com with your name, what you want done with your information and how you'd like us to reply. We'll answer within 20 business days at most.
If you believe your right to data protection was violated, you can turn to the competent authority in Mexico.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll publish the new version on this same page with its update date.
